He is infamous as if though nobody bothered to know this name. But as you explore around, you may find information about this explorer, who was actually the first to "circumnavigate" the globe, proving Christopher Columbus's theory to be accurate that the world is indeed round nonetheless. He is understandable for sailing his final, westward voyage.

His last journey to the East Indies however, was successful but not for himself. Only Magellan's crew made it out alive, while he himself was killed when they landed on the Philippine Islands.
